Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2023 was the ultimate showcase for new talent, fresh brands and emerging fashion trends - although outside of Sydney's biggest fashion event of the year, Vizual Worldwide partnered with incredible brands to bring their visions and brands to the forefront of the Australian fashion industry.
Partnering with Novotel Darling Square and Pumphouse Bar + Restaurant, the team at VW were all-systems-go, engineering a day full of diverse branding photoshoots for our partnering brands during AAFW. Novotel in partnership with Pumphouse was a beautiful setting for each unique brand's concepts. With a modern mix of industrialism and elegance, Pumphouse provided exceptional natural and moody lighting to help create the perfect content.
Taking full advantage of the natural light, the Vizual Worldwide photoshoot crew were able to beautifully accentuate the clothing from Colouron Cotton's collection. Showcasing their sustainable cotton clothing, the minimalistic and classic pieces were a crowd favourite that left the onlookers simply wanting more (and the models wanting to take everything home due to pure and utter comfort).
From classic and chic to the bold and brilliant, LadyPwrz created an absolute storm at AAFW. With the hard-to-miss tote bags and sunglasses being spotted over and over as go-to accessories in fashion week street wear, it made shooting content for the up-and-coming brand a breeze. Only launching in 2023, the VW team were able to capture new content for a new product release for the Melbourne-based brand - and keep LadyPwrz as the name on everyone's lips at AAFW.

Our luxury, bespoke photoshoot for our partnered brands included the addition of some beautiful products from Australian labels working alongside Vizual Worldwide for AAFW.
The Vintage Secret curates authentic, repurposed designer jewellery - perfect for an event as luxurious as Australian Fashion Week. Fendi, Chanel and Gucci were just some of the statement pieces featured throughout the VW photoshoot, and were popular choices outside of "work hours", attending elite runway shows at Carriageworks.

The Sister Label is an on-brand jewellery brand for Vizual Worldwide, as their mission is to promote the 'women uplifting women' movement. From glistening gold to shining silver, TSL's collection of high-quality, affordable and unique jewels are captivating - and the perfect accessory to accompany every outfit on set of the AAFW x Vizual Worldwide photoshoot.

Armed Jewels designs jewellery to inspire modern, feminine confidence. It only made sense for the Sydney brand to team up with VW to promote their incredible brand to the best in the industry. With a collection complete with sterling silvers and vermeil golds, Armed Jewels' timeless and elegant pieces had us swooning all week long.
Luna Lux provided the comfort dreams are made of, with their pure silk eye masks infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Argan Oil - a literal dream. With jam-packed schedules and constantly being on the move, it only made sense to partner with a brand that reminded the entire team to practice self-care and get a good night of beauty sleep before the next day began.

By Alexandra Travel is a brand that has an incredibly powerful message - and owner - behind it, which Vizual was extremely proud to share throughout AAFW. This is a business that showcases timeless style through travel-inspired film prints, with $2 from each print sold going to ovarian cancer research. The prints look gorgeous hung in the Novotel, in the VIPs homes/offices- the perfect way to reflect and remember the trip to Sydney

Thirsty Turtl - a skincare brand with a positive impact; with sustainable ingredients sourced from Indigenous suppliers. This partnership for AAFW was important to Vizual Worldwide, with Thirsty Turtl creating a three-step skincare regime that combines only the best ideas from Indigenous culture, cosmetic chemistry and sustainable agriculture. An absolute game-changer in the world of cosmetics and skincare for Australian beauty.
Styelle Swim doesn't just do beautiful swimwear - their products are ethical, sustainable, plant-based and biodegradable. The planet (and it's inhabitants) are at the forefront of this brand's vision, along with timeless and luxurious swimwear for every body. Their gorgeous collection was a fan-favourite when shooting press content for this incredible Australian-led brand. You don't get much better than pieces that are stylish, elegant and ethical.
Lashes of Change were the perfect beautifying partner for our event, with their high quality, customisable Italian mascara our guests were looked after in style from top to bottom! Lashes of Change are passionate about not settling for less and this shines through in everything they do. The mascaras are 100% customisable which includes: formula, type of brush and packaging options. Another sustainably sensible brand- we love it!

Just A Glass topped off an insanely busy week with utter perfection, allowing our VIPs to sip moscato and shiraz; sustainably. With an extensive collection of high-quality beverages to dive into, Just A Glass was not only the perfect brand to keep the team in high spirits, but their gorgeous wines were the ultimate gift for everyone who worked so tirelessly to bring the AAFW x Vizual Worldwide photoshoot to life.
